How it works

From a photo to who-owes-what in four steps.

  1. 1

    Scan

Turn the receipt into an itemized, translated list.

  2. 2

    Share

Send one link to the Telegram chat.

  3. 3

    Claim

Everyone taps what they had, including shared items.

  4. 4

    Settle

See each total with service and tax included.

What it does

Built for the way a table actually splits a bill.

Restaurant dinner, a store run with the flatmates, a round of drinks — the same few taps.

Reads and translates the receipt

A photo becomes an itemized list you can recognize, including receipts printed in other languages.

Fair on service & tax

Distributed by what each person had, not split flat. Order less, pay less of the extras.

Split any item

A shared dish or bottle divides across whoever had it — equally, by percent, or exact amounts.

Everyone at once

The whole table claims at the same time and sees it update live. Mark an item for a friend, too.

FAQ

Good to know.

Everything people ask before their first split.

How do I split a bill in a Telegram group?

One person photographs the receipt in Diwy Split and shares it into the chat. Everyone opens it inside Telegram and taps the items they had — Diwy adds up each person's total, service and tax included.

Does everyone need to install an app?

No additional app or separate account is required. Diwy Split opens inside Telegram.

Is it free?

Yes — Diwy Split is free to use while it's in beta.

How does it split service charge and tax?

Service and tax are distributed in proportion to what each person had, rather than divided flat, so a bigger order carries a proportionally bigger share of the extras.

Can we split a shared dish or bottle?

Yes. Any item can be divided across the people who shared it — equally, by percentage, or by exact amounts.

Can it read a receipt in another language?

Yes. Diwy reads the receipt and translates the items, so a bill printed in Georgian, Thai, or Japanese shows up as items you recognize.

What happens to the receipt photo?

It's processed to recognize and translate the receipt. This may involve the service providers described in the Privacy Policy. Diwy does not access bank accounts or process payments.

How is this different from Splitwise?

Diwy Split starts from a photo of the receipt instead of manual entry, runs inside Telegram without a separate account, and lets everyone claim their own items at the same time — down to individual dishes.

Your next bill, already split.
