01How it works
Four steps. One shared receipt. Nobody passes a phone around.
Post it in the group and mention @DiwySplitBot. Items and amounts come out as a list — translated if the receipt isn’t in your language.
The bot’s reply turns into the bill — venue, total, an Open button. Everyone opens it right there, inside Telegram.
Tap your dishes. Share a pizza. Mark a burger for a friend who’s already asleep.
Service, tax and discounts land in proportion. The chat message updates on its own.
The same dinner, inside Diwy
Anna took her salad and half the pizza. Ben took the other half. The rest is still on the table — and the totals already make sense.
Anna’s part of the evening

Pay for your part of the evening, not a fifth of everyone’s.
Service follows the food: Anna’s share of it is smaller than Leo’s.
Split a dish between whoever ate it. Equal halves, or exactly as much as each of you had.
Everyone else’s dishes stay their own.
Dish names get translated. The original stays one tap away. The amounts don’t move.
Georgian, Thai, Japanese — whatever the paper says.
03Wherever dinner happens
Use the app in one of nine interface languages. Receipt translation helps you understand what you’re splitting.
Each bill keeps its own currency — any of them — formatted the way that currency is written. Diwy calculates shares; it doesn’t exchange money or move it.
04A few more things
One shared receipt updates live. Five people tap at the same time from five phones.
Know who ordered the pasta? Mark it for them. Anyone in the bill can help.
Service, tax and receipt discounts are split in proportion. You can see where every number comes from.
Old bills stay put. Handy when “what was my part?” comes up the next morning.
Let’s get the numbers right
Scanning saves the typing. You can check the original photo and fix what was misread. If the amounts don’t add up, Diwy asks for a fix before anyone starts splitting.
05A little about us
Diwy Split is a Telegram Mini App for splitting restaurant bills from a receipt photo. It reads the items and amounts, translates the names, and lets a group assign dishes together — each person gets a total that includes their share of the extras.
Built by an independent developer, it’s the first tool from Diwy. The idea is simple: make everyday money conversations with friends a little easier.
Say hello · hello@diwy.meDiwy Split opens inside Telegram. If your friends already use Telegram, there’s no separate app to install or Diwy account to create.
Open Diwy Split in Telegram and start with a receipt photo. Share the bill with your friends in Telegram, check the recognized receipt, and assign the dishes. Everyone’s totals appear with the items in the same bill.
Yes. A shared dish can be divided between the people who ate it, while the rest of the order stays separate. You can adjust the shares instead of making everyone pay equally.
Diwy can translate recognized item names so the receipt is easier to understand. You can also view the original names. Receipt translation is separate from the app interface, which is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian and Georgian.
Yes, including EUR, USD, GBP and JPY. Each bill uses one currency. Diwy calculates shares in that currency; it does not convert between currencies or send payments.
Yes. The receipt’s service, tax and whole-bill discount are taken into account when calculating each person’s total, in proportion to their food share.
You can check the receipt photo and edit the recognized details. If the amounts don’t reconcile or need confirmation, Diwy asks you to correct them before splitting.
No. Diwy works out everyone’s share. You choose how to pay one another outside the app. For information about receipt and account data, see the Privacy Policy.
